A sign outside the restaurant says that this is the "Best Thai Restaurant" (in Perth) and it is!!! The two signature dishes of this restaurant are "Pla Rad Prik" (Curry Fish) and "Poo Nim Pad Prik Thai" (Soft Shell Crab) - both dishes are out of this world and are the best Thai dishes that I have tasted anywhere in the world (having been to many countries). The Som Tam (papaya salad) and Mango Salad are worth trying. Massaman Beef Curry is as authentic as it comes. The Tom Yam Soup served here comes in 2 different versions being the Bangkok Version which is more watery, and the Phuket Version which uses coconut milk giving it a distinctive taste and aroma. The Phuket or Southern Thai influence is a reflection of the owner Saowanee who comes from Phuket; while her husband Robert who originates from Myanmar (Burma) includes Balachaung, a spicy, tangy, and explosive dried chillie in the menu. During the weekends, it is recommended that you book a table as the restaurant is normally full.

We are on holidays so had been driving around a while looking for a restaurant strip however couldn't locate what we were after so stopped here as both love Thai food. The restaurant was not busy and wait staff very friendly and courteous. The food was ok, chicken quite chewy but satay sauce very tasty. My main was the beef curry and it was very oily and feel confident in saying it was corn beef as it was very stringy and had that silver/grey colour. I didn't feel the flavours were very authentic and the restaurant is very tired. Lots to improve upon here.

Went about 8 on a Sunday night with friends. Was nearly full on arrival. Service was reasonable but not great. Had prawn crackers, spring rolls, red curry duck, green curry seafood, stir fried beef and rice. Servings were reasonable and food was tasty. the duck curry was a bit bland but the seafood was great with scallops, squid, prawns and fish in terrific sauce. we took a bottle of wine and paid corkage but the wine prices were reasonable. will return

These people really take pride in Thai food. The ingredients are fresh and they haven't cut corners in preparing such wonderful flavours. Every mouthful is a treat. Try the numerous salads and curries.
