If you are looking for a fresh and French vibe look no further. From the moment the security welcome you in to the time the unique bar people serve you l, it's a night you won't forget. (No matter how much champagne) there are beautiful French accents floating around and the most amazing cocktail maker that resembles a cute lumberjack you can't miss him. They make you feel like home every time you walk in. Hidden in a lane way with amazing street art it is a place worth visiting.
We visited this gorgeous, gorgeous French-ified small bar tucked away in a lane way on the night after Bastille Day. It was still decorated in the French red, white and blue and we loved it!!The staff all spoke with French accents, the lighting is subdued and the prices very "real".We went pre-dinner, so didn't eat but the light meals being delivered to tables looked lovely.Wish we had a bar like this in Perth, Western Australia!!
A small pastis with a few olives, an excellent boeuf bourguignon, very good cheeses (some made from raw milk), all accompanied by a choice of wines. And for dessert, a delicious crème brûlée with a good little rum from Martinique. After 3 years in Australia, it's a pleasure to find a place like this! I recommend !
Loved this place, both for wine and cocktails. Some very friendly, charming staff herre, and they open long enough hours that you can pick if you want a quiet or bumping atmosphere.
