Went with a group of 7 , when we ordered at the counter we asked if we could have all orders on one buzzer but because 4 of us were paying separately , `NO` that was obviously too hard , so we had separate buzzers. Hence one person had finished their meal before others were even ready. One asked for a Schnitzel with no Fries but could they have extra Sauerkraut instead ,yes but add $3- . They do have a kids menu which isn`t advertised on the web site. I had a Pulled Pork Burger that was delicious but it was a little bigger than a macdonalds Cheeseburger an at $22- was an absolute rip off.Hospitality is all about service and value for money , unless your Royalty , don`t expect it here!!!!

After an absence of several years I have been back to the Cricketers Arms twice in a month. The food both times was fabulous. The London Pie is a real winner in Winter, great comfort food. The fish and chips were well cooked and really tasty. The schnitzels are also fantastic. Dessert and coffee are also great. As a group we tried, the churros, sticky date and brownie. No hassle to bring us little plates to share. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Lots of sunny little corners to sit and 2 roaring log fires inside. Only downside is the lineup to order, can be long. Would be could to have this separate from the bar.

Just had dinner. Staff really friendly lovely setting real fires. Cider really good local brand. Had two really filling big flavour dinners and a pumpkin side which was fabulous itself but my pie was really filling lots of meat and the side was then shared. If it was local would go again especially to use the beer garden which looked lovely with its fairy lights. We got in early and got a seat but lots of tables reserved I would definitely recommend booking a table so not to disappoint large varied menu plenty of choices for all

Coming from UK, I miss a good authentic pub. This was great, a wonderful ramshackle place with plenty of outside dining and real wood fires inside. Loved the authentic style with old wooden settles, great pub grub and a good pint. Full marks from me.
