We love Mexican and were quite keen to check out this establishment as it reviews well.It was good but disappointing.Started with the Guacamole, I understand Avocados are expensive but honestly, there were about 10 chips on the plate on the guacamole. The gaucamole serve with chips from the previous venue was perfectThe tacos were delicious.Also ordered the Enchiladas and Fajitas. Both delicious but to serve 2 tortillas with the fajitas was a joke - there should be enough tortillas for the amount of filling, and it screams of money making to charge people for more when you haven't provided enough. The fajitas were 30 bucks so not a cheap dishIf the dishes are also sharing dishes they should be served with serving cutleryI wanted this to be our new fav Mexican but I probably wouldn't return
Our daughter and son in law were returning to USA next day and treated family to some Mexican food. There are so many great Mexican restaurants there. Nice cool interior on a very hot day and not too busy on a Tuesday night. Great margaritas followed by some delicious nachos and a slightly disappointing guacamole (very small servings) but tasty. Then a variety of mains variety of tacos , brisket burritos and beef enchiladas plus a salad to share and tuna taco special all of which were delicious. We did a bottle of byo wine. Service was attentive and speedy. Some food for the kids too. Great food and a place to go back to.
We dined here on a Friday night, and although the restaurant was not packed, it was quite noisy. The food was a different style of Mexican food than I am used to, and it was fun to be a bit adventurous with what we ordered. I had the chicken chipotle, mildly seasoned, tasty. My son had the smoky pulled beef rib enchilada especial and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the simple decoration style utilized and the stencils on the wood to resemble tiles was creative. Possibly a bit of fabric draped from the rafters would help absorb some of the noise.
Decided to try Lucky Lupitas with a friend for a catch up dinner.So very glad we did. I love Mexican food and the food here is clean, super fresh, has just enough heat and is full of flavour! The soft shell crab taco a personal favourite and a must for you to try, Delicious! The mojito jug was also extremely delicious and very well made.The food here just made me so happy. Will definitely return soon. A new favourite restaurant in Adelaide for sure! Give it go!
