Situé au milieu de nulle part, dans un village microscopique ou les vaches sont et de très loin bien plus nombreuses que les habitants "humains"… Il s’agit d’une très vielle bâtisse rurale retapée progressivement par Françoise, une Ex citadine, qui a décidée de s’installer dans ce lieu mythique.La Bâtiment a conservé son caractère authentique et mérite le détour.Dans la pièce principale la cheminée (probablement du 17ème ou du 18ème siècle) "culottée" et totalement restée dans son état original est à elle seule un monument dont le caractère nous envoie à une toute autre époque.Bref un petit havre de paix, qui permet de passer une excellente nuitée toute en se restaurant et en goutant un petit bourgogne tout droit livré par la coopérative viticole du coin.
It seemed that within of our arrival we were talking to Francoise about local politics, families, political correctness architecture and history as if we were the oldest of friends. We slept more than soundly and rose to a sumptuous breakfast which set us up to follow the advice and visit Autun and Beaune. There is no doubt we will be visiting again soon to continue the conversations that we started and to learn more about this delightful part of France.
