C&j Barbeque - Table reservation

I think it just found my new favorite barbecue place. While looking at the menu, I made a comment to the person waiting to take my order, along the lines of You need a menu item for some of everything . Well, it turns out they do. I want it all! Half a pound each of brisket and sausage, half a rack of ribs, and half a chicken, along with two large sides. (Props to C&J for still selling ribs by the rack, instead of the pound. While I did a double take when he told me the price, I realized that it wasn 't bad for that much food... which will last me a few meals. All in all, everything was very good to excellent. A few bites were a bit dried out, but that was likely due to my coming in during off peak, between lunch and dinner, as well as those bites being thinner (end rib, chicken wing . I will be back, especially since they are less than two miles from home.

Q overall, I had the 3 meat plate with brisket, ribs, sausage. The pork ribs were the star of the show! Brisket was very delicate and tasteful, but a bit over smoked in my opinion, I think that certain brisket got some dirty smoke that would be responsible for the taste. I'll try next time. The sausage was good, I prefer a coarser bow, but it was good. The pages were all brilliant! The beans were excellent!

The best BBQ restaurant in the Brazos Valley can be found. Ribs are super damp, a touch of sweetness and not dry, Brisket is great and the sausage has such a good taste and do not let me start on the peach Cobbler

Brisket was a little fat, but Brisket is usually. Great smoked taste. The best jalapeno cheese sausage I've ever had. All in all, it was a great overall experience.

Showed up at their new location. Very clean, easy parking, Friendly staff and great food. Very wide selection of Brisket, Turkey, Sausages and sides.
