Cibo Expresso - Table reservation

This week I visited a restaurant for a quick bite and a good coffee. The raisin toast was nice but the butter was frozen. The coffee was average, with an okay taste but too watery. I was disappointed that the staff were more focused on talking to each other than on their job. I am a regular at Cibo in Henley Beach where the coffee is always perfect, smooth, and rich. The service is always friendly. The experience at this restaurant was not up to the same standard.

We have had lunch and afternoon tea here from time-to-time. The food and coffee here is pretty much as you would expect from a franchise café - good without being exceptional. They have a very limited range of gluten free options. Service is quite OK, apart from giving you one of those annoying buzzing/flashing things to let you know when to collect your coffee.To be frank, they pale by comparison to Murratti's, which is just a few doors down Prospect Rd.

It's ok. Shop is clean and very well presented. Staff don't look thrilled. Polite and courteous enough. Food is well stocked for the morning, which is good. Car park close by. Coffee is as you expect from a chain coffee house in Australia. Good quality.

Weak coffee, very average service. No one seems happy to be working there. No smiles, or any idea what excellent customer service might resemble. Real shame because it's a lovely area. Lift your game prospect cibo!
