We arrived in Sursee early evening after our journey from London. We quickly discovered that we were struggling to find somewhere to eat as everywhere seemed to be fully booked. (It was Swiss National Holiday weekend which we didn't realise) We decided to try Da Linda as we were running out of options and they could fit us in. We had planned to try this Italian later in our trip anyway. This had more of a café feel about it but that in no way detracted from the food or service! We had some really good pizzas and calzone (which was the size of a small house) with just enough room for ice cream at the end. Special thanks to the staff for looking after our party of Blind/Visually impaired. I would recommend a visit if you are passing through and it's very reasonably priced.
2 stars for the service: There was a lack of attention, especially for so few tables I expected the waiter to ask. He preferred to take care of others, cleared the other table and we waited. When we went to pay, he suddenly seemed overwhelmed. A group just came and we made the space available for them. The bad thing is that the woman inside didn't help in this situation. 4 stars for the food: Really delicious pizza, mixed salad was unfortunately poorly prepared with balsamic vinegar and oil as it can be done at home. Nice that the extra olives were not charged. So it gets 3 stars! If the opportunity arises, I will go there again for pizza, but I still think it's important that the service is right!
Love the pizza here! My Italian husband and I have had most of the pizzas on the menu and they're all delicious - perfect woodfire base with plenty of topping. the service is super friendly, either for take away or sitting out in the great atmosphere of the altstadt, and they are very patient with me when I'm trying to practise my Italian...We're going to keep going back for more and think you should too!
