Le Bistro de Sandra

We love to bike in this area and usually dine at the "only place in town." We were thrilled to find Le Bistro de Sandra when we arrived hungry and tired and "the only place in town" was closed!! The place was filled with locals and workers in the area - inside and out. We were pleased to find a table outside and could see that it would be a great place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, too. Even though recently opened, it is already very popular and busy. We enjoyed a terrific lunch - the rabbit persillé was incredible (made in house by the owner's husband, we were told.). Sandra was busy managing the tables inside and out and did not miss a beat, even when her daughter called to her from the family home on the property. She was charming and took good care of every one of her guests. We will be back during our next trip to Burgundy when cycling through Saint-Romain, that's for sure!

Very good ambiance with a terrace at the back, silent area of Laxaou; we did not expect to find a restaurant in that street which almost nobody is out and

Came afterhours, idyllic place for lunch and altought we can a bit late got still good food to enjoy; local wines, cheap prices
