I really enjoyed eating at happy gathering and I will really be happy to dine again the sum and from the main menu, but I would not rate the quality as much better than any of my other experiences. but it is the atmosphere at happy gathering that really sets it apart.

really busy at the welsh football derby day, but they found a place for me. the oldest and the best for authentic dimsum. a little expensive, but it is worth it for real cantonese food.

Simply the best Chines restaurant. Service, food and value for money. The dim sum menu is excellent.

My partner and I ordered a set menu A which was £19.50 each. Definitely worth it. Three starters (prawn crackers, ribs, spring rolls), 4 mains (chicken, pork, beef and bean sprouts), but no dessert. Was great food and great customer service. Polite and friendly. Would recommend

Best Dim Sum I’ve had in the UK for a long time. Be sure to ask for the Chinese menu and if you can’t read Chinese use Google translate. The Chinese dim sum menu is far more extensive than the English version. Back to the dim sum, it’s great and tasty. Their cheung fun and char siu bao are really good, and they also do deep fried crispy taro dumplings, which a lot of restaurants these days don’t do. Service is spot on and efficient. They take temperature checks and details before you are seated and all tables are socially distanced. You definitely feel safe eating there.

A local Chinese friend told us that this is the place to go for amazing Cantonese dim sum. We are from Hong Kong and thought this has to be tried to be believed. Well we went for a Saturday lunch and it was busy with plenty of Chinese people so that's a good sign. We ordered 12 dishes and we weren't disappointed. The dim sum was spot on. There were minor differences but that is part of the charm. The décor reminds me of a Cantonese Hong Kong restaurant that has been around for a long time and this one has been and for good reason. The food was fresh and very tasty. I felt at home in Hong Kong it brought back fond memories and I felt very comfortable there. Everything was of a high standard and I saw mainland Chinese, local Welsh and Brits and Indians who were queueing up to eat here. It shows how diverse the customers are. Well I am going post photos as photos beat any description I can give. Please press like if you found my review helpful. Thank you. Oh they have Chinese desserts this is amazing to find out and eat.
