Shocking Experience. It's a shame I have to write this but I have just got home and Fuming with the Prince Of Wales.
As soon as this place got refurbished I have supported the place, went on the opening Parties, spent a fortune in there on New Years Eve and accepted that the mess up with our order it happens But to take friends from down south there tonight for a quick bite placed near the Chef and NO ONE else around. <br br For the MANAGER to ask us to control our friends year old that was crying was OUT OF ORDER. we were talking with the child bringing her back to the table and being TOLD rudely that the reason is for other diners comfort is atrocious.
No-one else was around us AND it was not very busy which is why we ate earlier to not be here at main times and we were eating from the full price main menu.
To then send the waitress over to apologise for the incident and not have the decency to come over herself was SPINELESS, and the offer to give me a complimentary CHILDS scoops of ice cream was taking the Michael. Its a shame as I had been in there days previous with other friends and being around the corner I will no longer be going in and spending a time.
I will also be spreading the word, avoid this place and try MORANS/Marco Milano/The York Broomhill, anywhere else, POW does not deserve the custom.
