"terrible. waited mins to arrive for mediocre food and only meal times actually came out, leaving an old without. Apparently, the lady had only put through a child's meal, although she had ordered two."

when we first got the veggie breakfast, we both looked underoccupied, as there were no brown scorpus marks on anything. it looked like a super clean super healthy breakfast. there was a clear absenteeity of fat or oil and we could not see a fat. that was used to cook something even though we had a fried egg too. but that looked missing us how it tasted good, and seemed very healthy. the veggie sausages were not the ubiquitous quorn, but more like a lazy and crumbled slim. the speck was like veggie bacon always is, saw nothing like speck, salmon pink, flat pieces of protein, but it tasted ok with the big juicy grilled tomatoes. also a piece of toast, which looked like sourdough and tasted, was provided, and that was really chewing and satisfying. no bad breakfast for the smaller size fried egg, grilled tomato, sourdough toast, three or so pieces speck and a sausage the food can order quite fast, as most people seemed to order only drinks. it takes longer at the weekend when they are busier. we could also read the timings there.

Went on Sunday for brunch with my husband. We had the small and large vegetarian breakfasts and both were extremely poor. The vegetarian “bacon” was vile why even bother when there are so many nicer things that could be served. Small breakfast was three slices...of “bacon” which were cold, a single small sausage, two slices of tomato and an egg. The large had the same but with an extra sausage, beans, mushrooms and hash brown. Really poor show and very expensive for what you get. Could not possibly recommend. Wish we had gone to Wetherspoons instead.

it is a total secret for me how they can sell out scenes and yet a full of them meters away. we visited the empty (of food) caffe on a Saturday afternoon in the environment and no ham toasty or scones or quite. all of it. they feel that no one really interested or attempts to fix everything, even annoying was the manager or whoever constantly annoyed instructions in full loudness and then ironically around pushing around for customers into the caffe that has sold out of all. do or close it.

I thought we would give the caffea another attempt, but perhaps the numerous unclear tables should warn us. yes, slower than ever for only two coffees. this is the last time, waitrosen uttoxeter seems simply not to worry about good fast service......or clearing tables.
