Everything was perfect except the lobster that was very hard. Neither my husband nor I could eat it. We should have said something, but we didn't. Looking back, considering the price, it was important that it be brought to your attention.
We decided to treat ourselves to an elegant holiday dinner. Viognier was a no-brainer. Our server, Mark, was professional and friendly. The cuisine was wonderfully prepared and nicely presented. Best high-end restaurant around.
Overrated, expensive food that is below standard! The dishes were all too salty and generally very disappointing for"degustation" menu.
The bar at Viognier is, perhaps, the finest drinking establishment in San Mateo.
