Gaslamp Fish House

We had a reservation and were seated within a few minutes of arriving. However, by pm we had only received drinks appetizers, despite repeated reminders to our waitress. She told us the kitchen was backed up, yet we saw almost every other table around us receive their food. Our appetizers didn’t even arrive until pm, a full hour after we were seated! We finally told our waitress to cancel the entrees and left hungry. The staff did nothing to rectify the situation either, they didn’t comp the appetizers or drinks or anything! We asked another table nearby if they experienced the same service, and they told us their food was delayed but their oysters, drinks, and dessert were comped to make up for it. This was a horrible experience for what looked like a promising meal! Extremely disappointed in how the staff managed this situation. We will not be returning

I recently had weight loss surgery and needed a soup that was in my guidelines and I had the Lobster Bisque it was delicious! My mom got the calamari and the Caesar salad, said it was delicious too, although the sauce for the calamari was a little sweet. Overall it was a great experience

I ordered Alaskan King Crab legs and it was not fresh. Crabs was cut in half and the color was brownish.My husband ordered lobster bisque soup and it was cold. Very disappointed of the quality of food

Food was good, i think they were short staffed.. waitress made up for it with a free beer. Just dont get the Hemingway mai tai. It was not good

The menu had something for everyone at our party. LOVED the Cioppino
