very cool place for hangout and a small break from going over oxford. they love the marketplace the feeling of everything. conveniently placed in the middle of the shopping district. really friendly atmosphere both by manufacturers and buyers. Quirky building worth a visit in his own right. fabulous cheese business, fishing business, many eat drinking places in the market especially teardrop for their beautiful beer n wein. probably best that we come, and so helpful staff. the same with the game metzger. worth visiting, even if they are a tourist in this city.

The Covered Market in Oxford is a very pretty and lovely market where one can find a number of shops for different items mostly food (fruits, cafe, bakery, take aways, cakes, etc). Besides being a market, it's also worthy of a tourist attraction in its own way. I would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting Oxford to add this charming covered market in their itinerary.

A must visit when you are in Oxford! Buy a cake from the historic The Cake Shop, grab some delicious cookies from Ben's Cookies and refresh your collection with some beautiful hats from The Hat Store! Just 5mins walk from the primary bus depot, Covered Market is stretched across a considerable area across the High Street.

A great looking market place with lots of different shops to look into. Also have a few Alice in wonderland features hanging from the ceiling which looked pretty cool. There are a few cafes to eat in around the place. We went to browns and had a light lunch which was great. Would definitely recommend browsing around.
