The Beehive - Table reservation

Family anniversary meal. Firstly the pub is a very nice place and the atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t great for a number of reasons. 1. The gentlemen taking the food order got 2 meals wrong which then incurred a wait for 2 of our party whilst the correct meals were prepared. 2. We had to change one of the drinks as it had gone off. (Pipes not cleaned) 3. The main meals presented looked very nice however the pie was vey salty. Condiments on the menus were not brought with dishes as advertised and we had to ask. All in all a very nice place but unfortunately due to our experience we won’t be returning and would not recommend.

Been going to beehive every couple of weeks, absolutely love the homemade pie, it's so tasty and plenty of it with veg and delicious homemade chips and gravy, brilliant value lovely friendly staff ,couldn't fault one thing about anything, keep up the good work and delicious food Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5

More of a restaurant style pub than a local drinkers bar. Nice food and well trained staff who were pleasant and attentive. Parking: It has its own car park and there is street parking available. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 4 Service: 4

Beautiful food, friendly staff and a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Slightly overpriced would be the only negative to take from it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Homemade Steak Pie, Sunday Roast Beef
