Tejeda is a lovely village in the middle of Gran Canaria with beautiful views. It took us quite some hairpin turns and time to get here, but it was well worth it. Young but knowledgeable staff. They recommended us a local wine that was not over dominantly volcanic. As we were also not to hungry but wanted to try the large menu, we could order it for three while being four. We had some amazing veggie dishes like the tomato, and the bell pepper appetizer, but the piglet with watercress emulsion was my favorite. The brownie dessert with lightly smokey ice, was also very nice.
