La Dorotea - Table reservation

I don’t think you can have any more authentic experience thank this. We ordered the tasting tapas and tried many traditional dishes like the sweet **** sausage and Pella de Gofio. Everything was delicious and we really appreciated it because we like trying local cuisine. On top of this, you can sit outside of a lovely little church. Also great service. Would recommend it when visiting Tejeda.

This Tasca is on a very quiet spot next to the Church. The terrace had a lovely view on the little plaza and the landscape around the village and most important, enough places in the shadow.. We had a simple but tasty lunch. The service was good. Piementos padron tasted very good. The eggs with ham were o.k. There were also french fries served with it, but they were pale and barely fried.

A delicious lunch at La Dorotea! The island is slowly opening up again, post lockdown and I decided to spend a few days in Tejeda. Couldn’t wait to go back to La Dorotea, where I’d been before. Not disappointed! The fried cheese and tuna in adobo sauce were excellent, as was the friendly service. Reasonable price, too! Highly recommended!

Lunch of typical Canarian foods really tasty and varied. Service was friendly and efficient for a good price. Nice to sit outside in this quiet square.

We recently spent an evening at this wonderful little restaurant. Simple local dishes, no fuss, great staff, great experience. Recommended
