We have eaten there on previous occasions and as usual, the standard was very good with an original selection on the menu. The staff were friendly and coped well with a pre-Christmas rush. Coupled with an interesting choice of craft beers, as well as a few standard choices, definitely the best choice in Newton Abbot.
4 of us wanted to eat lunch so we came here, food is incredible aswell as the beers, dogs allowed inside and the service is fast and efficient. Very friendly staff who brought biscuits and water over for the dogs without us even asking. Couldnt ask for a better little pub.
We turned up dog in tow and we were made very welcome. There is a lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious (very reasonably priced) and an amazing selection of beers and ciders. We'll be going here again soon and this time I won't be driving.
Food and beer was really good and reasonably priced, kids was made welcome and used the pool table. Nice beer garden too. It was a one man band after the chef phoned in sick but he did an excellent job.
