I was in town from San Francisco visiting my eldest child for their birthday. We kicked off the celebration at Sybaris and what a great way to start. I wanted to KISS the chef in gratitude for the amazing food. The chawan mushi was a delightful upgrade to a traditional Japanese comfort food. I especially enjoyed the crisp rinkon and seaweed with (surprise! ginger. But the duck, oh my! Rich duck breast with a mustardy sauce and (this is when I wanted to kiss the chef cherries. So yummy. Also the server was super. Positive, energetic, friendly and knowledgeable. I hope that I'll be able to visit again.
