Spice Garden - Table reservation

We visited this restaurant 30th September and ordered Chicken tikka massala, chicken madras, chicken balti, mushroom bajhis, onion bajhis, vegetable rice, garlic nan and omelette and chips. Everything apart from the omelette and chips was worthy of 4/5 rating. But unfortunately the chips were very poor and unappetising, over cooked , greasy and lots of scrap chips on the plate as depicted in the attached photo. The waiting staff gave good service and apologised for the poor quality of the chips. However the owner made no apology about the poor quality of the chips when he was advised by the waiter , all he did was go to the kitchen and have a rant in there which didnt sound very professional in the restaurant. I had to request the charge for the chips was deducted from the bill.

Had a takeaway from here. Very friendly staff who helped us with dietary requirements. Fresh and tasty food which we thoroughly enjoyed would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!
