"The menu is traditional Tyrolean, so not too many light options. Had the dumplings with sauerkraut which were quite good and enough for 2. My husband had the grey cheese soup which I found too salty, but he enjoyed. Very reasonable. Lots of sweet options as well. Pretty setting."

We stopped here after our visit to the castle. It was a warm day and we sat outside. We ordered the large bratwurst and potato special. Both the brats and the service was very good. Watch out for the bees in summer-one drowned in my beer. The staff was nice enough to call a cab for us so we could back down to the train station.

We had draft beer herbal lemonade (bottled). Both were good and reasonable priced. The restaurant is located on the Trazberg castle grounds, at the bottom, across from a fabulous playground. We would visit again. Want to see where else we've been? Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest TheTraveling5

What better way to spend time on a hot sunny day whilst waiting for the Schloss Train than sampling the ice cream menu? For those with more time and bigger appetites a full Tyrolean menu is offered, and from the numbers on hand seemed very popular. Picturesque and well presented.
