Rosedale Cottage

We've been here more than a few times now and have never been let down by the food or the service. The menu always is just that bit more interesting, and the food is beautifully cooked. We eat out often and have tried every restaurant within twenty kilometres and this one is the best. The fish with celeriac mash, the steak, the lamb rack, all are excellent, and the desserts are exceptional.The rooms in the old cottage are cosy and charming, and the deck area is very pleasant on a nice day. Staff are warm and welcoming and prices are reasonable. BYO is welcome too.If you're in the St Ives shopping centre and looking for a meal that's better than the usual shopping centre fare, cross the road to this place. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent food and service. BYO wine which is always a bonus. Parking at the door (it's actually next to a council car park). Wonderful range of French foods but with minimal French sauces which can be quite heavy.Seven of us were in a separate private room of which there are a couple. Added to the intimacy of the family get together.

Went here for a birthday dinner and was VERY pleasantly surprised on how good quality this beautiful French food was. I took a risk and got the snail entree and it was delicious! French cuisine

New menu have released, wants to try all . Today have order the following Wonderful Meal, tasty and presentation great. Will go back soon to try other meals.

Several small rooms, each with about three tables. Service was prompt. Had French Onion soup and steak. Both delicious.
