Went here on Christmas Eve whilst on holiday and have recommended it to anyone I met who were looking for a good restaurant. The quality of food was exceptional both me and my friend had sizzling garlic prawns as a starter, I had 3 fillets as a main course (chicken, steak and pork) and my friend had Iberian black pork we couldn't fault any of the food. The wine list contains too many great choices and so we left it to the waiter to choose something to complement our food and he got it perfect trust your waiter. We had to book several days beforehand to get a table as it is very popular and couldn't get another reservation before the end of the holiday I was very disappointed.
Wonderful relaxing Dinner in the center of Playa del Ingles and only a few hundred meters from the Jumbo center! One of the best meals I have had in Gran Canaria! Exceptional dish of prawns in hot garlic oil and a fab main course of sole meunière. Friendly and competent waiters, and nice crowd of guests. Meal for 2 including wine approx €50. Oh and the bill is printed in German....LOL.
visited with friend who had previously eaten dinner in this restaurant so felt quite confident I would enjoy. How wrong could I have been. I was served practically roar pork.....my plate was taken back and microwaved to death. Would never consider returning. Friend advised he was of same opinion and did not understand what had happened to this place
My friends and I always eat at Romeo at least once on our holidays. Small friendly, so you need to book a table for a group. 10 of us ate here last month. We like to start with a glass of pink cava and I can personally recommend the roast lamb or pork medallions. Around the corner from the Yumbo. Closed on a Tuesday.
