I enjoyed my lunch on my way to Roque Nublo at this fantastic restaurant. Do not expect anything extraordinary or silver service, but if you are looking for a local experience, this is your spot! The place is full of elderlies happily dancing away on Sundays; very welcoming encouraging to join in. As it was a beautiful early spring, sunny day, we sat at the terrace in the shade of a blooming almond tree trying to spot the rock climbers on the nearby hill side. I had a Carne de cabre for main after some local bread and cheese tasters and Bienmesabe with ice cream for dessert. All mouthwateringly delicious and well presented. My friend had a vegetarian soup and also a Bienmesabe for dessert. All for 24 Euros with a Sangria and a Beer included, I found it an excellent deal. I recommend La Candelilla warm heartedly!
Sabíamos de este lugar por tripadvisor pero lo encontramos por casualidad después de visitar el Roque Nublo. Que acierto!!!! Exquisita comida, probamos la ropa vieja que estaba buenísima pero el estofado de cabra son palabras mayores que con la bebida y los cafés costó menos de 25 euros. No os dejéis llevar por comentarios negativos y comprobar por vosotros mismos la peculiar ubicación, la hospitalidad y sobre todo el buen hacer de los cocineros. El camarero fue muy amable también. Como apunte curioso había 4 canarios comiendo lo mismo que nosotros y dijeron que era de lo mejor que habían probado en toda la isla. No hace falta que diga más.
Weather You are driving from Mas-Palomas to either Pico Nieves or Cruz de Tejeda, You might be reaching this picturesque place just on the lunch time. To enjoy nice views, opening from the terrace to eat that tasty typical dishes they are serving (goat stew for example) is a really good idea.
Bajamos del barroco y conocimos este restaurante en breve. increíbles vistas y una espectacular sombra. muy buena comida canaria. ¡10!
