Once again Toscano did not disappoint. This is our go to Italian restaurant that has delicious authentic Italian food. We have tried everything from the pasta dishes, seafood dishes, various salads. John/owner/chef focuses on using fresh vegetables and fruits that are locally sourced and in season. Some of our favorite dishes include the calamari appetizer done in a broth, the gnocchi Bolognese, many pasta dishes, the fish dishes, and the fresh salads The restaurant reminds us of a little quaint restaurant in Italy. My husband says the biscotti is the best he's ever had (and we've been to Italy multiple times and have eaten at the finest restaurants around the world). I like the Italian cookies which are soft with sprinkles. This week he made homemade plum gelato that was a perfect combination of sweet and sour very unique. This restaurant was our go to place during Covid and is a hidden gem in our backyard. We are lucky to have it. Look at his weekly specials onlune. You must try!!
Very weird experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone I believe it was the owner that waited on us, as there was no one else there.
The food was amazing ! Nicole was an excellent server and we appreciated her warm and friendly approach . We look forward to our next visit
