A sunny but cold day in Auch and this was just what we needed. A lovely salon and friendly and helpful staff (who also spoke good English). We had the set menu for €22 a head - there were no options but the food was delicious. The pre-starter was carpaccio of foie gras (impossible to avoid in the Gers) - marinated in Italian balsamic vinegar and hazelnut oil from the Gers. The starter was also foie gras - 'royale' this time, with fried wild mushrooms. This was followed by pork cheeks, which were meltingly tender. The meal finished with pancakes flambeed with grand mariner at the table. With a half bottle of very nice Bordeaux and one coffee the meal for two came to €70. Which given the quality of the food, was a bargain. We will definitely be here again.

Don't mix with the Cafe/Brasserie and the restaurant. If you're looking for a high quality and fine French cuisine you're at the right place! The food is absolutely delicious and you can get the traditional french food with always a fine touch. The 40 euros menu includes 3 courses of the best selection with foie gras.An excellent wine selection too.Ther reasons I don't put 5 stars are: the service is a bit weak and the decor, although the retaurant is in a big

A formal business lunch in a formal setting ,excellent wines ,champagne, Armagnac and food all prepared by chef Vincent Casassus and explained course by course by his brother. Excellent foie gras with fig and floc chutney, slow braised beef and vegetables and a perfect chocolate fondant.very very French.

Very fine French cuisine. I loved the beautiful decor which went well with the food. Everything we tasted was just excellent. The service was great. It was really nice to visit and dine in a small town with real local cuisine!!
