Wow, this pub has really emerged into a fabulous place to eat! The food is really class and the staff are friendly and helpful.I was here on a Thursday night and the hotel was quite full so we elected to eat in the small restaurant. The bar staff have to attend to the restaurant as well as the hotel bar, so we found the service 'ad hoc'. Not to say it was poor; they made the best of a awkward situation. Would I come back, absolutely! The staff were awesome and the food amazing.

Today I had a nice lunch at the Republic. I decided to try the chicken and Rye from the new $12 super menu, with a side of sweet potato fries for $3.
What a tasty parmy!!! I have visited the republic many times for function, but never just sat and enjoyed a meal.
