"Went there for drinks. Surroundings are marvellous. Surrounded by 4k+ mountains a drink is always lovely. The waitress (owner?) seemed a bit outnumbered in this out if season period. But nice experience nevertheless"

Stayed one night in bunk bed. The room can hold up to 7 people. But there was no other and we 3 had the room to us. There is a double room but was already occupied. 2 showers and one toilet for accommodation guests. Can be crowded if all spaces are occupied. Very inexpansive, only CHF 60/pp HP. But no wifi. Dinner main dish was local cheese potato fries, was nice. The chocolate cake was especially good. Breakfast a little tiny. But the coffee was very good, even better than the coffees at other larger hotels along the Walkers Route. There is a pond with lots of open air seats. There are some animals kept for amusement of young customers. The environment was very beautiful.

This place is brilliant. It is also a campsite, so we camp here every year and make the Sierre Zinal Mountain Race. Ideally located with fantastic views and good value. We always get a local pass that brings you to other amenities such as the cable car that will take you from Zinal to the mountain. It is a ten minute walk in Zinal itself from the campsite. We catch the bus from Sierre, which takes about 45 minutes, for those energetic enough cycling would be a good option. Couldn't recommend it.

Located in the middle of nowhere at the end of the road of Zinal, this mountain restaurant is unforgettable.Next to a small pond with trouts and ducks, it offers various playgrounds for the kids while the parents enjoy the view on the back of the Eiger and the local food dishes. Friendly and quick service, we could recommend everything on the menu card. I was just disappointed by the blueberry tart which was deep-frozen, tough it tasted very good ..... A pity ......Don't miss it !

We stayed here while walking the Haute route and pitched our tent in the front. We ordered breakfast and dinner. We had three courses for a reasonable amount of money and the food was good too.Breakfast wasn't as good a deal or the same quality.
