Polly Claire’s does not offer much for the vegan, but what they offer is beautiful. The teas are served pre-used so that they do not “steel” regardless of how long the pot sits. They offered us a large fruit-nut salad with a variety of fresh delicate greens we enjoyed. Then they surprised us with a vegan chocolate cake that was excellent! My husband I spent about 2 hours there enjoying each other company in this beautiful place slipping beautiful tea and enjoying the cake. Polly Claire’s is the last Antebellum house still in Chattanooga, making it all the more pleasant to sit in a historic building that is lovingly cultivated.

An experience everyone should try. Amazing teas and scrumptious deviled eggs and tea sandwiches. The scones with the lemon curd are to die for. Southern hospitality at its finest. Proceeds from the tea house go toward the fight against human trafficking. Oh, please remember to make a reservation and be on time. Enjoy!Food: 5/5

Polly Claire's is now the Genesis Tea Room, but fret not, the menu is the same! The Lobster Bisque is always a good choice. A tea and a tier make a great afternoon.Food: 5/5
