Well I always come here and this place is basically synonymous with Alamogordo in my mind. I've never had a bad drink here or a bad cookie, tough I would say their sandwiches always seem to have an odd aftertaste and I don't order them. They have the besticed tea for a hot summer day. They have the most beautiful sweeping views of the basin and White Sands and plenty of places tosit comfortably, including outside. The patio gets a little too sunny where the tables are set up for me but I love it indoors.You can always find out what's up in the community with the events posted on thewall. The wifi often goes out but a lot ofpeople are using it. The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately. The same people have been working here for yearsand are always nice and know how to make everything I ask for. They rarely run out of stuff. So overall I really like this placeand enjoy meeting friends here or coming for some quiet time with headphones and my laptop. I also frequently visit the drivethru as it's convenient and I prefer supporting a small local business to Starbucks. Oh and the lines are always shorter herethan Starbucks. so it's worth it to me even though I do have to drive across town from where I live and work as it's fartherthan Starbucks from me. I hope this place stays open for a long, long time.
The cafe offers a selection of paninis in addition to coffees and teas. Everything we tried was delicious. Location is an added bonus. While it is a bit out of the way, it sits at the foot of the mountains, giving a panoramic view of the whole townand beyond. The covered porch allows to enjoy food with a great view. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area again.
The location of this place is pretty far from anywhere we were visiting and our hotel room. It's a nice area but very inconvenient. Customer service was a little underwhelming and so was the coffee. I ordered the New Mexico signature drink andcould have made a more delicious brew at home. I'm not upset about the experience just not impressed.
I ordered an iced caramel mocha, and it was delicious! My friends all ordered hot drinks, [and they all enjoyed them as well. I also bought an oatmeal raisin cookie and shared it with one of my friends; we both thought it was phenomenal! My only ?; *I'llbe visiting again soon!
