Phil's Bbq - Table reservation

I was running everywhere today. I thought I would grab a bite to eat before flying home. A girl at work suggested that I try the BBQ at the airport. It was highly recommended. When I think of San Diego I think of Mexican food. Well I got the brisket sandwich and all I have to say is that it was super bland. Not a lot of taste and you couldn’t even taste the BBQ sauce. The sides it got was the pasta salad and French fries. The fries were over cooked and super crispy. The pasta salad was more just mayonnaise. I do not recommend this place. If you want some good brisket go to the Delta Lounge and grab some

Wow, great place with delicious gigantic pork sandwiches! And a wide selection of craft beers served by very friendly staff. Also super fast service. I came past this airport several times, but this time I finally checked it and could not be happier. It was so good that I will make sure that I get to the airport early enough to enjoy all future trips....

For a BBQ place behind security in San Diego it's pretty good and reasonably priced (especially for the MASSIVE PORTIONS! . 4/5 stars just because I'm from KC and it takes near perfect bbq to even approach 5 for me personally.

For airport food this was amazing and the portions are great! Beautiful ribs and pulled pig. Good smoke taste and I love the light Charing for a bit of taste and taste. Service was fast on a busy day

At an airport you really can't find a better meal. Compared to most of the airport food I had, this place is amazing. There is also a bar so you can get a drink before taking your flight on board.
