Found in the main square in Guingamp, the timber framed and granite building itself is a treat to look at. Walking inside, the precisely arranged display of cakes, chocolates and other sweet things look as good as they taste. You can also have a cup...of tea there with a cake of your choice but I do find the interior tea rooms rather dull and uninspired. I would patronise the place more often but sadly the service is neither friendly or warm as other reviewers have experienced. Prices are expensive but I think they are worth it.
excellent welcome and pastry that makes you want for a tea break during the holy wolf. the historic chocolate maker of guingamp holds its place as a tea room and pastry, the second place at the best kouign-amann competition in 2016 is there to confirm it.
the decoration of the cake was not worthy of a pastry and did not correspond to a baptism. making rounds and hearts in almond paste even my children know how to do it. fortunately it was very good but I do not recommend for a baptism or marriage.
I was worked there being young and the pasquiet home taken over by the vincent son is certainly the best pastry tea salon in the city . not to mention the chocolates that are the top of Guingamp.An address or go the eyes closed.
