I really wanted to like this place, but it was just really disappointing. There was hardly anyone here on Saturday at 3:30. Waited a bit and finally sat. Our server only came in 5-10 minutes and since it was my first time here, they have such a big menu that we couldn't decide. Our server never came back until 20 minutes after. And then he never came back! (I think his name is Noah and just up left we hang). None of the other servers came in to check out our food or if we needed anything. We even heard a family sitting next to us, I said they had forgotten us and saw them looking for the server every 5 minutes. We had to wait for the food that felt forever. We waited almost 30 minutes until someone asks how we're doing and get a check. Eating is overpriced WAY, service is bad even during a busy hour. I wouldn't recommend:
The overall experience was great. The service was on the spot, and our waiter offers us a lot of great insights and recommendations on the best bang for the buck. We ordered two giant boats. You had to choose several boats from the first boat was a great mix of all available options of chicken steak, Tempoura and a sushi mix. The second boat we got was all sushi and it was all good. The time to eat was a bit slow, but the waiter was attentive, so all drinks were full and everyone has everything he needed. I would add this to my list of cheap sushi, and I would go back regularly. If you're in the neighborhood, check it out I don't think you are? I regret it. And stay with the boats. You? re definitely the best bang for the buck a tint of eating.
If you're looking for authentic japanese food, look somewhere else. Waited 20 mins to get my order and another hour for my food and it wasn't good at all. Got the ramen combo and it was horrible. The ramen had an odd smell and taste and only came with small fat bits from the chasu, an egg and an undisclosed green I will assume is spinach. Fried rice was bland, I swear the only seasoning is soy sauce and not even alot at that. The gyoza came out fried but was never asked if I wanted steamed or fried (personal opinion, gyoza should never be fried). I also never got my house salad and the prices are absurd for the quality of food you get. Save your money and your tummy, there are definitely better options.
Can I give them some extra stars? This place is exquisite ten times! Carlos, our Hibachi cook has an amazing aurora of energy worth being part. It delivered mouthwater flavors and all meats melted like chocolate with the flavor pans whispered in size. The whole team was great, but if you can ask a certain chef, ask for Carlos and tell him Chad and Heather sent you. But if you do, don't be a stingy tipper, because we all have dreams to live and pay bills.
