Had an absolutely delightful afternoon tea at the Nutty Duchess Tearoom in Collingswood where I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Joanne. Joanne started this tearoom in memory of her mother. She recommended I try the Queen's Tea, a diverse sampling of their menu. I started with a pot of the Prince Harry and Meghan Royal tea, which had a lovely hint of hazelnut. While I sipped my tea out of a fine bone china tea cup, I was greeted by a gorgeous tray of tea sandwiches. My absolute favorite was the Nutty Duchess Signature Sandwich made of sweet raisin bread stuffed with apples, cream cheese, and walnuts. After the sandwiches, I enjoyed a fresh scone with strawberry jam and Devonshire cream. The dainty petite-fours were a sweet finish to a wonderful tea party. I highly recommend The Nutty Duchess, it is the perfect place to catch up with old friends or entertain little ones. I hear they also offer a wonderful catered lunch!
We recently held a baby shower here and had an amazing time! It is very adorable. My favorite tea was The Royal Wedding. The scones were to die for! My cousins and I found their vintage hats and had a cute little photo shoot with each other. The only thing I disliked, but that cannot be helped by them, is that parking was over a block away. This is fine for an ablebodied person but we had a few elderly guests that could not make this walk. We had to drop them off but it was very risky as we had to double park and hold up traffic to get them inside safely.
Had my baby shower at Nutty Duchess Tearoom last week-end. All the staff is so warm and amazing. They did everything to accommodate all the guests. Food and Tea is just wonderful. Place is just heavenly. I would love to do more events there in future.
Had the best time here with my daughter and some friends. Most adorable place! Food was good, tea was great and the entire experience was fantastic. Completely made our little girls’ day! Thank you!
