I'd eaten at Mathilde once in preatcovid times and had enjoyed it. At that time I sat indoors and noticed that they had an open air patio at the back of the main dining room. Now during the restrictions, this is the perfect open air dining area! The service was great. The food was also very good. My friend and I shared salads: the Butter lettuce salad, and the warm goad cheese salad. Both salads were really good. We both ordered the arctic char for our entrees, and we really enjoyed that too. For desert I had the profiteroles which were filled with ice cream these were also fantastic. My friend had a desert that was a special on the menu that night, baked french meringue in a pool of vanilla sauce, and she really enjoyed that.Well done to all of the staff at Mathilde for creating a wonderful dining experience during these challenging times
This was a birthday dinner and the service and food was exceptional. We started the dinner at and ended at They never rushed us and from the start very friendly. The food was great
Came here since they were offering Paella for Meal Pal for lunch, and it looks like they aren't normally open for lunch, but they did have all the Meal Pals
Mathilde's offers lunch service through MealPal and it is the damn best value I've ever seen for lunch in San Francisco.
