"This is a Japanese restaurant that seems popular with many people. But I can not do that where is special. All in all, the food is here, like Samlon, really fresh, and people love it!"

Place/Time: Located corner of Campbell street and Pitt street, 5-10 minutes from Central station. Have been here for both lunch and dinner. Ambiance: Lunch and Dinner are both busy. Hosts always trying their best to sit you down quickly. Lunch times are more casual, dinner times more on a smart casual side. Downside is, restaurant is located on the corner of two busy roads, with good company you learn to ignore it. Food: For their lunch menu, there are varied options for good prices. I usually choose the salmon with rice as a main meal, and it comes with a soup and a fresh mini sashimi plate, which itself is already filling. Dinner menu is limited in choices but is still tasty. Food comes out 10-15 minutes after order. Options of Japanese flavoured cocktails and mocktails...Service: Good, fair service. Sits you down according to availability of seats. Will attend to you instantly with your requests. Occasion: Casual dining, Japanese cravings.Pricing: For Lunch for 2 adults we spent around $30-$50- two lunch sets with two drinks, includes tip. For Dinner 2 adults and 1 child we spent around $70-$90- three main meals, three drinks, includes tip. All in all this restaurant is a winner with its lunch sets. Would recommend to anyone craving for Japanese food for lunch without spending too much. Be sure to get there early for lunches as it fills up quickly!!!

Went on Friday as expected, had to wait an hour to sit down. Very friendly staff. My friend has recommended her isove of Soy Milk for many times, and I finally have the chance to try it out. For the first time soy milk hot pot, not really comparison, but I liked it.

Had her Sashimi and Tempura lunch, Sashimi was fresh and really delicious. The service was a bit slow, but given that they were really busy (as they are normally), they still maintained their cheerfulness and were very attentive.

A good place to start your evening if you happen to watch the theatre show nearby. I normally go for the bento & service is pretty quick. Expect queue if you come a bit too late either lunch or dinner. Yes they take Amex!
