Marlows Fish And Chip

Ok, I've read the reviews, the bad ones too...I've been several times, it's a fish and ship shop...not a Michelin star restaurant. I've always eaten in, the two girl servers were excellent friendly joyful servers Portuguese and Saharan) credit to the owners. Those behind the hot fryers in the baking heat are understandably less chatty but not unpleasant. Food was good, chip portions appeared small, but frankly I couldn't finish. I've had the southern fried chicken, the chicken pie, scampi and haddock. All we're fine, though I prefer baked pie more than microwaved. No pukka pies,lots of meat, beautifully gravy. So understand, every business has off days, you get treated how you treat. I wanted not to like, but I actually really enjoyed. The outside eating is a nice touch, again BRILLIANT servers inside.

2 adults 2 children, we had fabulous service and couldn't fault the food, was fresh tasty and great value for money. The service was lovely and she was super friendly and helpful. Will definatley return.

good prices and quality. the star dish, spectacular fish chips. very kind staff who attended us out of opening hours. to repeat

Great fish chips and the waitress is very nice we paid 20€ for the food and a pint each.
