I have eaten at different Maragaritaville’s and unfortunately this was my worst experience. The food was not that great, luckily the appetizers were better than the entrees as I left most of the entree untouched. When entering we were told to seat ourselves, which is a new one to me, especially as they were busy. We did and then it seemed no one was handling were we sat, so we got passed to a few different servers as they got it straightened out. The fact the servers were trying is the only redeeming point.
This isn't usually the style of restaurant that would be my first choice but I was pretty happy with the experience. My wife has a shellfish allergy (inconvenient for a week at the beach... and they were able to prepare everything separately for her. I wasn't expecting that with such a large portion of the menu being seafood so we really appreciated that. The service and drinks were both good the food was ok, not great. The lava shrimp app was the favorite dish I tried, it was pretty strong.
The food wasn't great(nor was it very warm/hot). The service was ok considering they only had like 2 servers. A weird guy came around the tables to ask if we wanted our picture taken(no doubt he would have charged us for it). The music was way too loud and overall the whole experience was lackluster and very disappointing. We've been to other Margaritavilles before (Myrtle Beach was 1000x better and by far worth the money) this one in FL just wasn't up to par unfortunately.
This was my first time at Margaritaville and I was plesently surprised it was better than I expected and I review alot of place around the southeast. Shianne our waitress was just as great as food and environment, she made our 6 year old the happiest kid ever! Shianne is a rock star, the restaurant was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you for the great time and food.
