I really like this place, it always has a good happy vibe of customers enjoying their food.On a cool night, family member and myself had a massive craving for laksa! Oh but where to go where it is good! Hard to find sometimes, but I would certainly return for Madams laksa! The laksa is really good value, big hot steamy bowl of yumminess and I believe they even fry their own tofu, which is fluffy and delicious, the stock is simple, not too overpowering so I did find myself adding extra chilli to beef it up a bit, but of course, that is personal taste! We also had the stuffed chicken wings, which are really good too. Everything I have eaten from here over the years, has been really good and that is probably why they are always busy. Consistency is the key.Looking forward to returning!

Friends booked this restaurant and upon looking at the menu, we were reticent. staff were very friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable about ingredients. There were many specials on boards to add to the menu. Good size serving and reasonable prices. There was no room left for desert. Drink prices were fair. Toilets were cramped and a little difficult to get to, having to squeeze past other diners. A lovely surprise evening, good food and excellent service.

Wait staff were friendly, could have been more engaging. Especially since there weren't many customers. However the food was tasted great and didn't take too long to cook. Didn't like the fact that we had to come up the the counter to order our food.

Madam Wu's is an eastern suburbes institution. I love all their griddle noodle dishes, which I have not come across in other chinese places. I think the serving portions are slightly less than they used to be, but the quality cannot be faulted.
