I don't expect bet prices to be cheap or to get a particularly fantastic food in a roadside bistro. And I found that I was right to have these preconceived ideas. What would have been good, however, is having a server that acted as if it gave at least a little blow. he literally approached our table without a word and looked impatiently as we tried to order our food under his malicious gaze. I asked questions about the size of their pizza and he said a decent size so that two people could share it. a 15€ that was not given but at least it would be enough to share with my nephew. I almost canceled the order when I noticed his dirty nails and I saw him cough in his hand but I stayed with because my nephew was tired and hungry. When the pizza arrived (slide on the table to us, without a word, by golum the server), it made 10 inches in diameter. I interviewed the server description on the size of the pizza with the manager, who, while trying at least to be charming, was completely mocking. "we only make pizzas in one size," he said tirelessly. "I understand that, but your server misled us," I patiently tried before I apologized. pizza has nothing special but my nephew enjoyed his half so he left happy, which made me happy. My advice is to give this place a large spot. irony is, and I can say it with confidence after many years in the service industry, that if the server had taken the pain of giving a little personality, being friendly and engaging with us, I would probably not have been so bored by the size or quality of the food

the xvi coffee was just around my hotel in bets. We arrived and found a wonderful surprise. I was on a family holiday, so I worked with a hard and demanding crowd, 3 British, 2 American and only 2 people under 60. We chose the xvi because it seemed to have something for everyone. Two people had the perfect cooked salmon dinner. a person had eggs and ham fries. another had a really cool turn on the margherita pizza, which was accompanied by several unknown soft cheeses. I got the special of the day sea bass and mash. It seems quite simple, but when it happened, the bar had been whipped in the potato purée. The flavor was amazing and the idea so simple. this place cares about the food it serves and it sees itself. We tried to go back two nights later, but it was a Sunday night and they were closed. Monday morning, we had breakfast here. We had the best croissants of the trip, we tried croissants in 4 different places. the xvi took the time to prepare light and mellow croissants, everyone in my group had two each with breakfast. There are so many cafes around the corner and not a lot of reviews to guide you. I suggest looking for xvi for any meal. the coffee is at a pasture of houses of the arch of triumph on the avenue of the great army, the road right in front of the Champs-Elysées. If you're shopping on the Champs-Elysées, it's only a 5-minute walk away. You can sit outside and see the bow of triumph. is worth the detour, with a real Parisian touch!!!

You're not going to come here for something new or special. but for a simple breakfast or a classic bistro meal, it makes the essential, at an acceptable price (not always easy to find in this neighborhood) and with a quick and friendly service.

Cosy restaurant with average food and service to match. Big plus is the large serves and the shank of lamb, which I did not have, looked tasty. I would not rush to revisit
