We had a good time this 5th of August in the evening. Flavoured and delicious sauces Excellent idea to offer cheese alternatively with a sweet dessert. Only flat is for this reason that 4 stars, the slate was not visible from our table, my wife and daughter moved to see it but not me... for some tables the slate was oriented to the guests with empathy but not for us?
My friend and I were looking for a good bakery during our stay in Avignon. Maison Violette was right. They had correct size Americas (always finding a fight in Europe). I have the pistachio leaf that was perfectly baked, moist and not too sweet. My friend got the raspberry, which was very citrusy and delicious. Definitely recommended when you are in Avignon!
Absolutely everything here was delicious. We tasted some of the pastries... Favourites included the lemon poppyseed bread, a pistachio bread with berries, a large cream puff varieties, and of course the pain au chocolat. Also enchanting Baguettes! Definitely a must in Avignon!
very sweet bakery during Avignon, there are many with the same/similar name in the old town. ordered coffee as we had to pick up during our visit. Good, solid coffee (American, flat white, espresso)
