Le Tison - Table reservation

This little restaurant is tucked away in a side street and doesn't look much, but the steady flow of takeaway pizza orders was a sure sign that something good waited inside. The friendly lady owner works like a Trojan to produce really tasty thin crust pizzas that put others to shame. So often pizzas are doughy, undercooked in the middle and bland to the taste. Not here. Congratulations to a lady who is not afraid to produce a yummy garlicky pizza at very reasonable prices. The House red was also a welcome change from the unpalatable, butter stuff that is so often served. Will definitely be going back here next time we're in Pau.

This restaurant which was close by my hotel is a simple family run establishment. The lady of the house was very welcoming and once my order was taken she proceeded to the kitchen , put on her apron and started to cook.The food on offer - wood fired pizzas , lasagne etc is basic but we'll cooked and presented and prices are also reasonable.

I ate here a few times on my holiday as it was close to my hotel. It was a decent restaurant run by one lady on her own. The pizzas were very good and she also does a few other French and Italian dishes. The food is very reasonably priced as are the drinks.

This little resturant is in a time warp, but we loved it. The pizzas were great, wine good and deserts fun. Very relaxing little place. Run by one woman that gets help from her customers. Dont be in a rush here as she has to look after everyone herself.
