Coming from Lille for a Paris weekend, we spotted this restaurant on the internet thanks to the many positive reviews and alluring pictures. We were not disappointed at all, on the contrary, it was a great experience! We chose the restaurant Rennequin Street for its fiery and cosy atmosphere that was perfect for a dinner in love in the evening. We found the tables a little too close, but we are probably not accustomed to Parisian restaurants. We had the pleasure of being really welcomed and accompanied in our choices not the chef who was exceptionally in service in the room. It was a real pleasure to be able to exchange with him on his products and it had a real impact on our experience in this restaurant. I was able to taste the Jules cocktail that were really good, as well as the dish Naked potatoes with its sublime orange vinaigrette that was not without recalling a family cuisine that was very dear to my heart, that I was delighted to be able to find in vegan version. The Rigatoni way carbonara were perhaps a little spicy to our taste but the flavors were balancing with a truly amazing harmony and my companion really enjoyed them. The final touch was the chocolate mousse with chocolate and raspberry shrapnel that was perfect to finish this evening in beauty, light and very good. We strongly recommend this restaurant and we thank the chef again for his advice and warmth! We will certainly come back to taste the other dishes that made us look at our next Paris weekend!
Charlotte treats us with her small vegetable garden in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. What’s great in her kitchen is that she’s not trying to replicate a meatless steak like many restaurants that first seek to reassure hard customers but not yet open to other tastes. It’s beautiful, it’s good. Customers during our visit were mainly English-speaking, it has nothing to do with the quality of the card but rather surprising in these proportions.
