We visited this restaurant with good friends on the advice of several others and because of the excellent trip advisor reviews. We live nearby all year round so it could have become a regular haunt, especially because it is open for Sunday lunch. However the service was dismissive, and the food unexceptional although the wine was good and reasonably priced. Only 1 starter that we had stood out, for the rest the meat was either under or overcooked; the vegetables tired, the chips soggy. and the deserts unexciting. There are many other restaurants nearby that serve much better food at similar prices, (maybe because it was August ? but we are not tempted to return any time soon. I give 1 point for the wine and 1 point for the starter they don't deserve more....
Visited here for dinner (six of us) at end of a Le Boat holiday. Only two restaurants to speak of in the village and we didn’t eat in the other so couldn’t make a comparison. This place is like the Tardis tiny from the outside but once you enter, it opens up with a number of different eating areas. Food was good without being exceptional, nice wines and friendly service (we managed to get by with some very poor French language skills).
Ate here twice with a group of friends, one lunch and one dinner. The service was very good. They tried to help us with explaining what was on the menu and at lunchtime when we said we were in a hurry, they got the meals out very quickly. Food was very good and location is very nice with large garden out at the rear along the river.
Brilliant meal with perfect friendly service. Would definitely go again when in the area. We both had the foie gras to start followed by duck breast accompanied by a bottle of local red at a reasonable price. We had half a bottle left and without being asked they recorked it fir us to enjoy later one if us was driving).
