La Traviata Duquesa

Poor unfortunately. Very long wait for everything, short staffed, albeit pleasant, they must have missed our mains as waited almost an hour. Gambas pilpil ok but overdone, scallops below par, All the meat was underdone, waited too long to eat to send back, fish was very bland and no seasoning, choices of sauces on meat were questionable. Don't normally leave reviews but a vague attempt at an apology, no discount or drinks, nothing on the house. Owner must take it for granted that its always busy.im sure I'll get no reply or a standard reply but wanted others to read before booking! Very disappointing!

Me and my sister visited whilst on holiday and can highly recommend it. We visited on the off chance as we hadn’t booked and they were able to squeeze us in. I ordered the lamb chops and my sister the mixed platter for one. Both of which were delicious. Reasonably priced and good variety of drinks. Toilets also nice and clean and staff pleasant. Complimentary olives were a nice touch. Lovely views of the port.

Absolutely packed. Every table taken on a busy July evening. Broad menu seeming to cover all tastes. I had the liver, my wife had the ribs. Food was delicious albeit not very hot but oh my the service was bad. Took so long for order to be taken, food to arrive, plates to be cleared. 45 minutes to offer a dessert menu. Waiting staff are really lovely but they need more of them. Toilets impeccably clean

Food cooked to perfection, excellent service and attention to detail, reasonable wine selection and good ambiance. A must restaurant to book in Duquesa . Very good experience.

Great atmosphere. Friendly welcoming staff. The food is amazing. Fantastic steaks, cooked to perfection. The desserts were to die for.
