Getting stuck in the torrential July rain and finding all the beautiful fairy lit restaurants we had planned to eat in flooded, we were running from restaurant to restaurant when we came across La Table de Magali on TripAdvisor. The reviews looked great and thankfully Magali's lovely husband let us in as their final guests of the evening. Kind and helpful, he and his son guided us through the €29 menu, and recommended us some local still and sparkling wines to go with our food. The inside decor was quaint and cosy, and the outside also beautiful despite the thunderstorm. Our menu was a delight and surprised us at every course, starting with a Foie Gras crème brûlée, then Guinea Fowl, a selection of amazing cheeses, and poached pears with caramel and chocolate. It was honestly a menu you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant, and we loved every bite. We were the last people in the restaurant late into the night, but we were never once rushed, and before we left, we were introduced to Magali, who was working hard in the kitchen. I cannot even stress enough how much of a delight it was to eat here and meet with Magali and her family, it is the kind of restaurant you dream to find in France, and we will be returning every time we visit Provence. My TripAdvisor rating is 5 stars, but if I could, I would give it a Michelin Star.
