"The macarons I got on National Macaroni Day are amazing! They also have the most amazing bourbon pecan rolls, and you can't go wrong with any flavor of croissant! They are the best I've ever tasted in the country!"

If you’re in need of a French bakery, look no further than La Patisserie Chouquette. I could rhapsodize about their Darkness Croissant and pretty much every beautiful thing that they offer...but their macarons are really the star. Possibly the best I’ve had in St. Louis. The texture was exactly right, and the flavors were divine. Plus the place is positively adorable. Highly recommend. Highly. Pro tip: Get their early...especially around the holidays and during special events.

I LOVE this place! Everything is so beautiful, and delicious. There is no better place in all of Saint Louis for a French macaroon and I swear, they are just as delicious as any I've had in Paris. The atmosphere is incredible, beauitfully without being uptight. Seats are comfy and everyone is super nice. Highly recommended for all your sweet needs.

National Macaron Day! Very well organized even though it was super crowded. Waited an hour in line but so worth it. Luckily the STL weather cooperated (sort of). The Macarons are wonderful as usual. Had to get a few ‘Darkness’ croissants while there as they are my absolute fave thing. This should be a must do if you are in STL.

Outside of Paris, these are the best croissant around. My absolute favorite bakery in St. Louis. As a wedding florist- their cakes are easily my favorite as well. To add fresh flowers to these is a privilege as each treat is such an obvious labor of love.
