We reserved two days in advance so Rosette could put the Garbure on. It's a local specialty, and is a pork, bean stew, which is so flavorful and just perfect after a day skiing. The owner gave us a very warm welcome, in the cosy dining room and there was more food than we could handle. It was a lovely experience. In February the (record-breaking! amount of) snow stopped us from getting up there, but we'll be back next time we're there and the roads are clear.We only ate there in Winter, but Sers is a lovely village with a beautiful view, a lovely walk up from Barèges in nice weather.
