The theme of the first world dillema last night begins: “We go out to eat.” “Ok, where?” “Japanese? No, we're going to a birthday dinner next week. Mexican? No, we just came back from SoCal. Brazilian? Close, too expensive and unjustified for such a fast plan. Korean? hmmm.” We finally settled on Kong Tofu, a half new joint at Stevens Creek Verde/ElephantBar/Harumi's Plaza. When I entered, I noticed a mural of “E.K”, a possible old classmate from me. I thought it was pretty good. This place is much bigger than I had judged it from outside. Food: The panchan was a good change, I counted broccoli, bohnsprouts, noodles, kimchi, radishes and were quickly refilled. I ordered the beef tofu soup, which was quite good, many pieces tofu and beef inside. They do not dilute the soup I have made experiences of places. Service: Service was top notch. Not sure if rice refills additional costs (In many other places I was that they have always charged for it), but our nice Korean server lady did it for free. How nice of her. Another meter was my water (if you notice in previous reviews, I was always Guage a Restaraunt service through their water reps since I drink water like a fish) was always refilled on time. Woop Woop. Bill came to 13 with taxes and tip, very reasonable. I think this will be my place to get my Korean fix from now on.
